Darts: Taylor eases into final

Eight time world champion Phil Taylor has one hand on the Skol World Championship trophy after reaching the final with yet another fabulous performance at Purfleet tonight. The man known as `The Power' beat 'Diamond' Dave Askew 6-0 with a three-dart average close to 103 for the second match running. He also threw a stunning 14 maximum scores of 180 on the way to victory.

Askew, the eighth seed, was only allowed to win three legs in the entire match and the only thing the eight-times world champion did not hit was the perfect nine-dart finish.
