Siobhan McHugh is an award-winning writer and documentary-maker, based in Sydney.
An RTE radio producer from 1981-1985, she worked with Mike Murphy, Marian Finucane and Myles Dungan, winning a Jacobs Award for the series ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’, a social history of the ‘60s in Ireland, presented by Shay Healy.
She migrated to Australia in 1985 and is the author of five books of Australian social history, which have been made into radio and television documentaries and adapted for the stage.
