Limerick preview

Malayan Mist has looked smart in a two-race unbeaten career to date and has her sights raised to Listed level in Friday's Martin Molony Stakes at Limerick.

Dermot Weld's Dansili filly didn't see a racecourse until last month but justified favouritism at Gowran Park before accounting for a 94-rated rival by a length at Ballinrobe.

She faces much tougher opposition here, but receives plenty of weight from Bob Le Beau and Zerashan, as well as a 3lb sex allowance from fellow three-year-olds Last Crusade, Jackaroo and Adilapour.

The latter's stablemate Raydari makes a belated start to his career in the opening Irish Mirror Maiden at 5.35, but won't need to be anything too special to make his presence felt, with his chief rival the David Wachman-trained filly Gonebeyondthemoon.

Wachman has further claims of glory later on the card, courtesy of Let It Snow in the Croom House Stud EBF Fillies Maiden.

The daughter of Galileo made an encouraging start to her career when chasing home Long Live The King over a similar trip at Tipperary, but Hesamiya is another who arrives on the back of a promising introduction, having taken third behind the aforementioned Malayan Mist at Gowran Park.

Prophesy looked far from straightfoward when third here last weekend, but Aidan O'Brien has applied blinkers to his armoury and plenty of punters will go chasing their losses when he takes on Jim Bolger's consistent Cheerful Giver in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden.

Polly Floyer has been snapped up for 28,000 guineass since landing a Wolverhampton maiden and has her first start for Ger Lyons in the jogforjockeys.ie Handicap.

Hangar Five is getting ever closer to a breakthrough success and will be on most shortlists for the Derrinstown Stud Apprentice Handicap, while smart jumper Dancing Tornado takes on Natural High and Zaralabad in the Peter Clohessys Bar & Sin Bin Nightclub (QR) Race.
