Limerick show four changes in personnel from the team which lost to Tipperary in the opening round of the Munster senior hurling championship for Sunday's All-Ireland qualifier against Clare.
Out go Donal and Denis O'Grady and Mark Keane, while Denis Moloney was not considered because of an injury picked up at Semple Stadium. They are replaced by Mark Riordan, Seamus Hickey, Mike O'Brien and Barry Foley.
TJ Ryan is named at full back but awaits a full fitness test on Sunday morning. He was injured at a recent training session.
Teenager Seamus Hickey and Mike O'Brien form a new midfield pairing. Hickey was introduced as substitute for the injured Moloney in the defeat by Tipperary.
