Paul Herriott presents a concert recorded in the National Concert Hall, Dublin as part of the RTÉ Concert Orchestra Signature Series 2017. The concert, Viva España, is packed with colourful Latin-flavoured classical favourites, including Rodrigo’s beloved Concierto de Aranjuez with guitarist Craig Ogden. Conductor JoAnn Falletta started her career as a virtuoso guitarist before becoming the first female conductor to lead a major American ensemble.

Internationally acclaimed performer and composer, Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin has developed a unique Irish piano style exploring the sounds of traditional and classical music with occasional forays into jazz and other world music forms. He joins forces with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra for the very first time in this special concert featuring newly composed and newly scored pieces along with several of his classic compositions including showcase pieces for piano and orchestra (must be more) Crispy and So Merrily Dance.
