Fresh from their wins at the IFTAs, RTÉ2's Bridget & Eamon made their British television debut on Saturday night - and the chalk-and-cheese couple have picked up more fans.
The comedy premiered with a double episode on UK Gold at 11pm on Saturday and while not the ideal hour, people still took to social media to profess their love for the show.

Speaking to RTÉ Entertainment ahead of the show's premiere on UK Gold, Jennifer Zamparelli said that she and co-star and co-writer Bernard O'Shea hoped that people would "stumble upon" the series and through word of mouth it would become "a bit of a cult classic".
"You don't know how people are going to react, but the people in Gold love it and they think good things are going to happen, so fingers crossed," she continued.
"I've all my friends and family in the UK watching it anyway so they'll be positive, even if they think it's s****, and that's good for me. Lies: I don't mind them lying to my face - I really don't, I don't care!" she laughed.
Bridget & Eamon won two IFTAs on Friday night: Best Comedy and Best Director for Jason Butler. Highlights of the IFTAs air on TV3 on Sunday night at 10pm.
