Poldark heartthrob Aidan Turner has been awarded the Best Television Actor gong at the GQ Men of the Year Awards 2016.
The 33-year-old Dublin-born actor was given the award by Cold Feet star James Nesbitt, which comes just days after he returned to the small screen as smouldering Ross Poldark.

The star-studded ceremony at London's Tate Modern saw Michael Caine being named this year's Legend, while Ricky Gervais bagged the Genius gong.
