British broadcasting legend Michael Parkinson heads the guest list for this week's Saturday Night with Miriam on RTÉ One.
Parkinson is best known for presenting his long-running television talk show, Parkinson, from 1971 to 1982 and from 1998 to 2007, as well as other talk shows and programmes both in the UK and internationally.
Affectionately known as Parky, the 81-year-old has a multitude of showbiz anecdotes to recall, and will chat about both sides of his life, on and off-screen.
Miriam will also meet with four of the first ever Celebrity Operation Transformation leaders - Katherine Lynch, Elaine Crowley, Brenda Donoghue and Karl Spain - before the Operation Transformation plan officially kicks off on Monday.
Forensic Cyberpsychologist Dr Mary Aiken will also be in studio to talk about how human behaviour changes online and how people are becoming slaves to their mobile phones.
Plus there will be a performance by veteran singer-songwriter Albert Hammond.
Saturday Night with Miriam airs at 9.15pm, RTÉ One on Saturday
