Game of Thrones star Liam Cunningham says he was almost beheaded by a camera on the set of the popular HBO hit show.
The 55-year-old Dubliner, who plays Ser Davos in the fantasy show, revealed he was almost “decapitated” by studio equipment during the filming of a showdown between Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Ramsey Bolton (Iwan Rheon), in the eagerly-awaited upcoming episode titled Battle of the Bastards.
“I nearly got killed by a camera,” Liam told The Irish Daily Star. “We were doing this scene where I’m riding past a line of soldiers on horseback, sending them off into battle. So, when they’re sent off, my horse wants to go with the rest of the gang, as all horses do," he added.

“I had to hold him back, but they brought the camera crane in really close. Luckily, I could see it in my peripheral vision, because my horse jumped sideways- and I narrowly avoided being decapitated,” he said.
Cunningham previously admitted that there were lots of "pulled muscles" and "pain and misery" filming the war scenes but said he never expected it to be "a walk in the park".
