Niall Horan says he misses the regime of his One Direction days and has admitted "nothing is really in the pipeline" with his solo career.
The 22-year-old Mullingar man, who is currently enjoying his hiatus from the band, revealed he is struggling to move on from the memories of One Direction but says enjoys being his own boss.
"Sometimes you kind of miss it - having a bit of a regime. For the last six months, I've been my own boss and rolling out of bed whenever I want... and not having to think too much. "I do miss it a little bit but it's been nice to be able to sit around," he told HELLO! magazine.

In recent weeks bookies have been taking bets on Horan doing a duet with Rihanna but the Midnight Memories singer insists he's just taking each day as it comes.
"I've been in the studio writing bits and pieces," he added. "Nothing is really in the pipeline in particular, just keeping the mind ticking over and doing what I like. I've always been into the writing and trying out different things musically.
"I've made relationships with a few writers over the years so it's been good calling them up saying, 'Do you want to write?' then popping into the studio.
"I haven't done much, about five sessions maybe. I've just been chilling out."

Horan previously said he used golf as a way to unwind while touring with One Direction, “When I was on tour, I found that it was a good thing to get away from everything because I would sit at the hotels and every day was quite intense with lots of people hanging around,” he said.
“So just to be able to go out on the golf course and have the day to yourself is pretty cool.”
Niall recently teams up with his pal, the pro golfer Justin Rose, for a fundraising event to raise money for young cancer patients. They have raised over €735,000 through a gala dinner and the BMW PGA Championship.
