The Fresh Prince is back.
The Fresh Prince is back.

Dig out the baggy jeans and turn those baseball caps around because Will Smith aka The Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff are preparing to release new music and hit the road again.

Smith told Beats1 DJ Zane Lowe that he was preparing for a musical comeback and had recorded more than 30 songs for his new album.

He explained that of the tracks recorded, he's got “six or seven that I really, really like, that I’m trying to get the ideas to come out right. I’m shaking the rust off, knocking the dust off."

However the actor and rap star admitted that he is "terrified" about making his first new album since 2005's Lost and Found.

He said, "When you've had a certain amount of success, it seems like it should breed confidence."

"But it actually doesn't. When you win a lot, you lose the ability to lose. You're not allowed to lose anymore", he added.

The Fresh Prince also said he is "pretty certain" he and former sidekick DJ Jazzy Jeff will embark on a world together in 2016.

"Jeff and I actually have never done a full tour. I'm terrified," he admitted. "We've had a week run here, two weeks there. I'm really ready man."

For anyone who's excited by the return of the old skool collaborators here's a an all time classic blast from the past.
