On his facebook page, Brian Eno describes himself as a “Public Figure”. In his case it’s something of an understatement! From Art school, after a chance meeting with saxophonist Andy McKay, he joined Phil Manzanera and Bryan Ferry in Roxy Music. But his career as a musician is complemented by several others - as an innovator, composer, singer, visual artist, political activist and record Producer to Devo, Talking Heads, David Bowie, U2, Coldplay among others. Recorded on Saturday June 27th, 2015 as part of the Hay Festival in Kells, Co. Meath, Brian Eno talks to Sinéad Gleeson about music, art, Client Earth, minor chords, Ireland, Bono, Bowie and ... Rev. James Cleveland and The Shiloh Baptist Choir. Listeners might like to know that there is language which some might find offensive. Innovations - Brian Eno and Sinéad Gleeson
