In 1999 'Agnes Browne' starring Anjelica Huston hit the cinema screens.  The day after the Irish premier of the film, Anjelica Huston, director and star of the film, was a guest on the 'Late Late Show'. Anjelica chatted to Pat Kenny about the premier and how she decided to direct and act in the film.

Anjelica Huston is the grand-daughter of the actor Walter Huston, and daughter of film director and actor John Huston. 

The story of Agnes Browne is based on the book by Brendan O'Carroll called 'The Mammy' and is set in Dublin in the late 1960s.
