VIEW, the Journal of European Television History and Culture is looking for contributions for an issue on the hidden professions of television.
VIEW would like to hear about a range of organisational, administrative or technical activities that have played their understated or even invisible part in the historical formation of television. Some of the subjects suggested though not limited to are; continuity, outside broadcast management, television retailing or manufacturing, composing music for television, and weather forecasting on televisions.
