Late Late Show St. Patrick's Special London 1980

On this day in 1980, Gay Byrne and The Late Late Show comes from London for a St. Patrick's Day Special.
In a filmed report, Gay Byrne steps out on to the streets of London to get Londoners impressions of Ireland and their views on the Irish.

Gay asks the questions "What is the first thing that comes into your head when I say Ireland and the Irish?"  and "Do you have a mental image of Ireland and the Irish?"

Broadcast 15 March, 1980
