Your display picture (not shown publicly)

The content of your message

Your views/opinions or any biographical information you share

We may also process special category data, such as health information, religious or philosophical beliefs, political opinions, and sexual orientation, if you choose to share it and it is relevant to the broadcast.

Display your message during the live program

Keep your message as part of the broadcast in our archives

Legal Basis for Processing: RTÉ is the data controller of the information we receive through your engagement with our WhatsApp channel. We process your personal data primarily to perform a task in the public interest, in line with our statutory objectives under the Broadcasting Act.
