VERY IMPORTANTLY… in order to win the prize, you must be available to take a call from 2FM, answering only with the phrase that pays which is: 2FM, TAKE ME TO LAPLAND! If you answer using any word/phrase outside of this, (for example Hello, Hi), you forfeit your chance to win the prize. If the call fails to connect, goes straight to voicemail or is not answered within 10 rings, you forfeit your chance to win the prize.
If an entrant fails to take and answer the call as outlined, or is deemed by RTÉ to have answered the qualifying question incorrectly, the entrant forfeits his/her opportunity to win.

This competition is open to Republic of Ireland residents only.
Each text entry must contain no more than 160 characters including spaces, otherwise you may be charged an additional cost for every subsequent message. The use of emoji/smiley faces will also incur an additional charge and may vary with operators.
Please do not enter outside of the advertised competition open and close times and date(s) as you will be charged, but your entry will not be included in the draw. Competition may be closed if listening on catch-up services, please check dates and times.
Entrants must be aged 18 years or older as at date of entry and a resident of the Republic of Ireland. Promoter reserves the right to request proof of age, verifiable by birth cert or passport only, and proof of residency, verifiable by recent utility bill only (issued within 6 months of win).
The prize is strictly non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
You must be available to travel on the dates specified by the Promoter (trips will depart December 2025, with specific dates as outlined by the Promoter). No alternative dates, trips or prizes will be offered.
The holiday prize is for 2 adults and 2 children (child defined as under 12 years old as at return travel date) includes: (a) Return economy-class flights Dublin to Lapland with Aer Lingus (flights only (to include x1 check-in bag each, non-specified seating), airport(s) and route(s) as specified by the Promoter, Promoter is not responsible for delays, diversions or cancellations and any associated expenses and/or compensation is the sole responsibility of the airline, child defined as 12 years and under at return travel date); (b) 3-nights hotel accommodation in Lapland (hotel as specified by the Promoter, room-only, based on double-room sharing, winner will be required to present their own credit card upon check-in for security and incidentals), all resort transfers, meals as per itinerary, private meeting with Santa, thermal suits and boots, reindeer ride, snowmobile ride, husky ride, ice and snow activities, Santa's post office, elf school, Santa's toy-making facilities, and festive dinner (with all details as specified by the Promoter and as per itinerary). The Promoter is not responsible for any costs or expenses beyond those stated above.
Travel dates and arrangements are subject to air travel, and other prize and travel restrictions. All elements subject to advanced booking and availability. All elements of the Prize must be redeemed at the same time, and no changes will be permitted after confirmation of any redemption. Prize cannot be split, and any elements not redeemed within the trip will be deemed to have been forfeited.
Winner is responsible for any additional air travel taxes and/or expenses, including applicable departure taxes or fees, travel visa fees, inspection charges, baggage fees, and security charges.
Travel insurance and transfers to/from Dublin airport are not included.
Winner and guest(s) must hold valid passports and appropriate travel insurance (as determined by the Promoter) for the holiday duration and the Promoter may require winner and guest(s) to show evidence of valid appropriate travel insurance prior to travel.
Any costs incurred additional to the prize package elements listed (e.g. telephone charges, additional meals, room service, individual transfers etc.) will be at the winner’s own expense.
Any requested or permitted upgrades or changes to the stated holiday prize will be at the winner’s own expense.
Failure to attend for any reason whatsoever on the travel dates agreed and booked does not entitle the winner to an alternative holiday and the prize will be deemed to have been forfeited.
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value if a prize element becomes unavailable for any reason whatsoever.
Employees of RTÉ, Fonix, Sunway and their associated promotional partners, companies or suppliers and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter/win.
In the event that a call to a finalist(s) cannot be completed on-air due to technical issues on the part of RTÉ or time restrictions, RTÉ reserves the right to announce the winner(s) on-air, in which case the finalist(s) will not be required to take 2FM’s call and answer with the winning phrase, in order to be deemed the winner(s).
RTÉ's decision in relation to selection of winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
