John Ryan will make his 200th appearance for Munster when they visit Edinburgh in the BKT United Rugby Championship on Friday while Simon Zebo is handed his first league start since September.
Ryan becomes the 13th Munster player to reach the double-century landmark, having returned to the province in October after Wasps were placed into administration.
The 34-year-old made a try-scoring impact off the bench in the win over Connacht last weekend and is promoted to the starting line-up along with fellow front-rowers Jeremy Loughman and Niall Scannell.
The other change in the pack sees Gavin Coombes start at No 8 in place of Alex Kendellen, who is named among the replacements.
Tadhg Beirne continues his second-row partnership with Jean Kleyn while captain Peter O'Mahony retains his place in the back row despite his early withdrawal against Connacht after taking a bang to the nose.
Bernard Jackman told Against The Head that Antoine Frisch could make a bigger impact at Munster than international centres Malakai Fekitoa and Damian de Allende
Mike Haley is ruled out as he continues his return-to-play protocols so Shane Daly switches to full-back with Zebo named on the left wing for his first league start since the away loss to the Dragons in September.
Joey Carbery is again preferred to Jack Crowley at out-half while Antoine Frisch, who impressed on his first URC start against Connacht, continues his centre combination with Rory Scannell.
Munster have won on six of their last seven visits to Edinburgh but Friday will be their first time playing at DAM Health Stadium.
