Wimbledon legend Martina Navratilova remained on course for another title at the All England Club when she moved into the semi-finals of the women's doubles with Lisa Raymond this afternoon.
The nine-time singles champion, knocked out in the second round of this year's event having been handed a wild card after a 10-year absence, teamed up with her compatriot to beat Marion Bartoli and Emilie Loit of France 6-2 6-4.
Navratilova currently holds 20 Wimbledon titles and needs just one more to beat Billie-Jean King's record.
The 47-year-old was also in mixed doubles action today, defending the title she won with Leander Paes of India last year.
They are in action later this evening, when they will complete their delayed third-round match against Wayne and Cara Black of Zimbabwe, who took the first set 7-6.
