Tennis Ireland have announced today that Ellesse, the leading tennis clothing brand in Ireland, will sponsor the the 2002 Ladies’ Irish Open at Castleknock. This year's competition will offer world-ranking points which will ensure an international flavour to the draw. All four members of Ireland's Fed Cup team - Kelly Liggan, Yvonne Doyle (title holder), Elsa O’Riain and Claire Curran - will compete at this year's event.
The Ellesse Ladies’ Irish Open starts on Monday July 29 and the finals are scheduled for 2.30pm on Saturday 3rd August.
