Ireland take lead in Davis Cup tie

Ireland have taken a 2-1 lead in their Davis Cup match against Slovenia following the singles and doubles matches this afternoon. The singles were drawn 1-1 but Ireland moved one ahead today with the Irish pair of John Doran and Peter Clarke beating Slovenia's Matiga Zagic and Marco Tlake 7-6(7-5) 1-6 6-2 6-2.

John Doran, who is a slight injury worry, is expected to play Iztok Bozic in the reverse singles tomorrow, while Peter Clarke should play Tlake although these ties have yet to be finalised.
