Clare Cryan has finished fifth in the 3m springboard final at the European Aquatics Championships in Rome.
Following an eleventh-place finish in the 1m springboard on Tuesday, the 28-year-old returned to action at the Foro Italico this morning.
Qualifying in sixth place overall in breezy conditions at the outdoor venue, Cryan improved a place to record an overall score of 268.35, with her highest scoring dive a reverse two-and-a-half somersault pike which yielded 60.45.
Chiara Pellacani, who hails from the Eternal City, delighted home fans as she struck gold with a tally of 318.75.
Michelle Heimberg of Switzerland secured silver, with Britain's Yasmin Harper rounding out the podium places.
Ciara McGing and Tanya Watson complete in the synchronised platform final at 2.30pm Irish time on Saturday.
