Turkish billionaire Muhsin Bayrak is the latest party to launch a bid to buy Chelsea from Roman Abramovich.
The chief of AB Group Holding has confirmed his determination to buy Chelsea, though Bayrak will face stiff competition in the race for Stamford Bridge.
Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss and USA magnate Todd Boehly have teamed up for a consortium bid, while Abramovich is understood to have received several bids in the region of £3billion.
Now Bayrak has made his own bid for Chelsea public, with bullish statements about his chances of success.
Bayrak's company even claimed to name all the current Chelsea bidders, though several of those named including Britain's Jim Ratcliffe and Egyptian billionaire Loutfy Mansour have already moved to rule themselves out of the running.
"We will fly the Turkish flag in London soon," said Bayrak, in a statement.
"We are negotiating the terms of the purchase of Chelsea with Roman Abramovich's lawyers.
"We are in the negotiation phase for the signatures."
Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss and USA investor Todd Boehly a have teamed up for a consortium bid, with Wyss stating earlier this week that he had been given the chance to buy the club and is preparing a consortium to submit an offer.
The 86-year-old billionaire Wyss has admitted he will look into the details of any possible deal to buy Chelsea, with the asking price thought to push beyond £2 billion.
"Abramovich is trying to sell all his villas in England, he also wants to get rid of Chelsea quickly," Wyss told Swiss newspaper Blick.
"I and three other people received an offer on Tuesday to buy Chelsea from Abramovich.
"I have to wait four to five days now. Abramovich is currently asking far too much.

Asked if he would have any problems staying at Chelsea, Tuchel told reporters on Friday, "No, I have the opposite of the problem of staying here.
"I have said many times that I love working in Premier League and love to be in England... Chelsea is, from my point of view, a perfect fit for me. I love to be here and every single thing about the club.
