Stephen Bradley said Shamrock Rovers aren't bothered about plaudits raining in from outside the camp after they retained their Airtircity League Premier Division title on Friday night.
The Hoops eased past Finn Harps to seal the crown with three games to spare as they reasserted their domestic dominance in 2021.
Bradley hailed his charges afterwards and when asked if he felt they didn't quite get the credit their achievements merits, he replied: "All we worry about is what happens at this club and what we speak about. Other people can have their opinion.
"Whether we agree with them or not is obviously up to us, but we're not too worried about that to be honest.
"I thought the players were excellent in the manner in which they approached the game. It was a tricky one, with the big crowd and all the pressure was on us to win it tonight in front of the fans, but I thought they handled it really well."
Bradley reserved special raise for man of the match Danny Mandroiu, who scored two goals against Harps in a quality performance.
Signed from Bohs last December, the midfielder has enjoyed a strong campaign.
"We tried to sign Danny. He had other options and we said to him, 'come here and let us develop you'," Bradley said. "He's come in and worked extremely hard. He's been first class since he came in... top drawer.
"The players have created history. Back to back titles, the first Shamrock Rovers team to win it here [at Tallaght Stadium]. It's fantastic."
Mandroiu was ecstatic as he capped his maiden season with the Hoops with a trophy, adding: "I'm buzzing. I love winning trophies, I love scoring goals. I'm here and what a club this is. I'm so happy."
