Shamrock Rovers will be without Lee Grace and Aidomo Emakhu for their UEFA Europa Conference League play-off round first leg against Flora Tallinn, head coach Stephen Bradley has confirmed.

The Hoops take on their Estonian opponents away from home in the first leg on Thursday as they aim to reach the group stages of the inaugural competition.

Speaking ahead of the first leg of the tie, Bradley confirmed that 28-year-old defender Grace and young forward Emakhu, who netted a dramatic late winner against Albania's Teuta earlier this month, were both unavailable after sustaining knocks.

"Young Aidomo and Lee picked up knocks and won't be involved," he said.

"Both have been doing really well. Lee has really got back to himself the last number of weeks in terms of back to his levels and young Aidomo has come in and done really well.

"It's disappointing to lose both but hopefully they're not too bad and we can have them back next week."

But the Rovers boss added that the squad are capable of absorbing the loss of Grace from the starting 11.

"The squad is really strong. I know Lee has been playing really well and it's not ideal but that's the way it goes. That's football, that's the way the season goes. You lose players for whatever reason and you have to get on with it and tomorrow will be no different," he said.

Bradley also said he was happy with how his team were defending in recent weeks, including in both legs of the third round qualifier against Teuta.

"We've been unlucky in a few games this year in terms of not keeping clean sheets," he said.

"We know that everything we do is built on the back of clean sheets so it's been really pleasing to see that in the last few weeks."
