Republic of Ireland under-19 international Brandon Kavanagh has gone on a season-long loan from Shamrock Rovers to Bray Wanderers.

Kavanagh spent most of last season playing for the Hoops' second team in the First Division, with the regular football serving to further enhance his strong reputation.

The 20-year-old playmaker has attracted admiring glances from Crystal Palace, but he will remain in the First Division in 2021 after the Seagulls moved to acquire his services.

Bray are looking to go one better in the First Division this year having finished second to Drogheda United in 2020. They were beaten by 1-0 Galway United in the First Division play-off semi-final.
