Two of tonight's Women's National League fixtures have been postponed.

The fixture between Peamount United and DLR Waves at PRL Park will be rescheduled due to a potential Covid-19 case within the Waves camp.

The match between Treaty United and Cork City at Market's Field in Limerick has also been called off as a result of weather warnings in the south.

A Status Red wind warning has been issued for Cork, while a Status Orange warning will come into effect for the rest of Munster, with Storm Ellen expected to reach Ireland tonight.

Both games had been due to kick off at 7.45pm.

Two other matches are due to go ahead as planned. Galway WFC will host Athlone Town at Eamonn Deacy Park, while Shelbourne and Bohemians will meet in a Dublin derby at Tolka Park, with both games scheduled to kick off at 7.45pm.

Ahead of tonight's midweek round of fixtures, Peamount had been top of the WNL table on goal difference after two wins from two from the opening two weekends, while DLR Waves, Cork City and Treaty United were fifth, seventh and eighth respectively.

Meanwhile, the Women's Under-17 National League fixture between Peamount and Shamrock Rovers has also been moved to 26 August at PRL Park, Greenogue.
