First Division strugglers Wexford FC pushed Premier Division Derry City all the way at the Ryan McBride Brandywell, before David Parkhouse scored the only goal inside the final ten minutes.

Intermediate Cup specialists Avondale United put it up to First Division Drogheda at United Park before Ryan O'Shea scored the winner for Tim Clancy's side.
