Roy Keane has announced a stellar line up for next month's fundraiser for the late Liam Miller at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Keane will captain a side that will include Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Denis Irwin, Rio Ferdinand, Andy Cole, Gary Neville and Nicky Butt.

The Celtic/Republic of Ireland side will include Robbie Keane, Damien Duff, Kevin Kilbane and Richard Dunne.

Tickets for the event go on sale next Monday for the game on Tuesday 25 September.

Keane believes players taking part in the fundraiser will be "nicely surprised" by the stadium, but jokingly added they might have to put out 15 a-side rather than 11 due to the size of the pitch.

Miller, who played for Celtic, Manchester United, Sunderland and Cork City over the course of a 16-year career, died from cancer in February at the age of 36.

The game had been originally scheduled for the 7,000-capacity Turner's Cross, but after some controversy the GAA agreed to host the game at the 45,000-capacity Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
