RTÉ analysts Liam Brady and Eamon Dunphy thought the Republic of Ireland's passing game left a lot to be desired in their 2-2 draw against Serbia.

Brady observed that "we are a long-ball team, there's no getting away from it" while his colleague said that "something has to change" in Ireland's approach.

"If Irish football and this team is going to prosper, something has to change," insists Dunphy.

"We have people like Stephen Quinn who never gets a game and Wes Hoolahan who was exiled for five years by Trapattoni and abused by Martin O'Neill, in some way, for two years."
