Stephen Kenny has flown back to Derry to prepare for his final game in charge of The Candystripes, Sunday's FAI Cup final against St Patrick's Athletic.

Kenny, who is now manager of SPL side Dunfermline Athletic, will take training today before heading back to Scotland to take charge of Dunfermline against Kilmarnock on Saturday.

He will fly to Dublin on Saturday night to link up with the Derry squad and will be in charge of the team for the last time on Sunday afternoon.

Derry expect to bring 10,000 fans to Lansdowne Road on Sunday to say farewell to Kenny who transformed the Foylesiders from relegation candidates into title contenders.
