Manchester United target Kevin Hofland will not leave Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven this season, according to the player's father Huub. The defender has a contract until 2006 with the Dutch champions but a pack of Europe's top clubs - led by United - are after his services. AC Milan, Juventus and Lazio are also interested in the 22-year-old international.
Huub Hofland, also his son's agent, is currently in talks with PSV over his future, but Hofland senior poured cold water on suggestions the Dutch international would leave the Philipstadion before the summer.
He told De Limburger newspaper today: "He will finish this season in Eindhoven. I have read that Sir Alex Ferguson wants Kevin now but that will not happen. Kevin will play for PSV until summer 2002. Kevin has told chairman Harry van Raay that foreign teams are after him. Apart from the teams already mentioned, other teams are also interested. They should all go to PSV with their wishes."
