Liverpool have completed the signing of Poland goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek from Feyenoord, according to the Dutch club. The Rotterdam outfit announced on their official website, www.feyenoord.nl, that they will receive £4.85million for the 28-year-old, who nearly joined Arsenal during the summer.
Liverpool were keen to wrap up the transfer before tomorrow's Champions League registration deadline after Sander Westerveld's late blunder on Monday gifted Bolton victory at the Reebok Stadium.
Dudek, currently in Warsaw preparing for Poland's World Cup qualifier with Norway, has reportedly waived his rights to a £300,000 pay-off in order to clinch the move.
