O'Sullivan to face Higgins in final

Ronnie O'Sullivan booked his place in the final of the Citywest Irish Masters after beating Paul Hunter 6-3 in this afternoon's semi-final. O'Sullivan now chases his second ranking title in two weeks when he plays either John Higgins or Dave Harold in tomorrow's best of 17 frames final.

In the semi-final, Hunter tried his best making breaks of 118 and 101. But O'Sullivan was always in control despite losing the opening frame making breaks of 118, 42, 76 and 78.

O'Sullivan will face John Higgins in the final, the Scot came from behind against Yorkshireman Dave Harold and fought off a mini-comeback himself to secure his place in the semi-final after a burst of heavy scoring in the middle of the match left him 5-3 clear and he duly won the next but one frame with a typically assured 71 break.
