Ireland have named their extended squad for the final two rounds of the RBS 6 Nations, with several new players added.

Leinster front-rowers Michael Bent and Tadhg Furlong have been added to the squad, as has Ulster’s Dan Touhy.

Bent had been named in Ireland’s initial, extended 46-man squad ahead of the Six Nations opener against Italy.

Jamie Heaslip is named in the squad, having missed the game against England due to the fractured vertebrae he sustained in Ireland’s win over France in round two of the competition.

Jared Payne and Sean O’Brien, who both went off injured against England in round three due to concussions, are also included, as is Jonny Sexton, who sustained what the IRFU called a minor hamstring injury in the win over Stuart Lancaster's England.

There is no place for Billy Holland, Roger Wilson and Gordon D'Arcy in the extended squad.
