Ireland Under-20 squad named for Six Nations

Ireland Under-20s coach Nigel Carolan has named an extended squad of 30 players for the upcoming RBS 6 Nations Championship.

Eight players named in the squad played in the tournament last year - Harrison Brewer, Ross Byrne, Jack Cullen, Oisin Heffernan, Nick McCarthy, Sean McNulty, Rory Moloney and Garry Ringrose.

In addition, a further three players played in last year's Junior World Championship - Billy Dardis, Ciaran Gaffney and Josh Murphy.

Ireland have two games at home in this year's campaign, with France coming to Dubarry Park in Athlone on Friday, 13 February.

Donnybrook Stadium is the venue for the visit of England on Friday, 27 February.
