After difficult weather conditions led to Sunday's action being called off, the the ILCA European Championships finally got under way today in Croatia.
Eve McMahon is in seventh place overall in the Women's Dinghy (ILCA 6) class after finisihg in fourth and eighth place in today's events.
In the Men's Dinghy (ILCA 7) class, her brother Ewan McMahon is in 12th place out of 173 boats, with the highlight of his day a fourth-placed finish in his opening race.
Finn Lynch, who represented Ireland at the Rio and Paris Olympic Games, sits in 18th after a tough start to his day, with his best performance coming later on with a sixth and fourth-placed finish in the last two races.
Fiachra McDonnell, appearing at a senior championships for the first time, managed eighth spot in his opening race, before falling away.
The action is set to continue tomorrow.
