Ireland's women team return to the international stage when they host the USA and Japan next month.

After missing out on World Cup qualification in last month's round-robin tournament, the side take on USA, ranked sixth in the world, on Friday 12 November (7.15pm) and Japan on Saturday 20 November (Kick-off 3pm).

The IRFU will be able to welcome back crowds to a women’s international match for the first time since March 2020.

Ireland captain Ciara Griffin said: "We’re looking forward to two Test matches on home soil this November, and we’re excited about the opportunity to play in front of our supporters again.

"A Friday Night game under the lights promises to be a special occasion and we hope to see as many of our supporters as possible."

Venue and broadcast details will be announced next week.

Meanwhile, Amee-Leigh Murphy Crowe, Eve Higgins, Brittany Hogan, Emily Lane, Lucy Mulhall and Béibhinn Parsons have all been included in the Ireland team for the Elche 7s pre-season tournament in Spain this weekend.
