Cian Healy is aiming to return from injury in time for Leinster's Heineken Champions Cup quarter-final with Saracens on 4 April.

The loosehead prop was forced off after 26 minutes of Ireland’s 24-12 defeat at Twickenham, having been hurt in a ruck during the lead-up to Elliot Daly's try.

He has since been ruled out of the remainder of the Six Nations with the hip problem.

Healy wrote in a post on Instagram: "Big thanks to everyone for their kind messages over the last few days.

"I’m absolutely gutted with the injury but one thing is for sure, I will come back stronger and better.

"I'm surrounded by incredible medical teams in both Leinster and Ireland and have every faith in the plan ahead.

"We've set a target to return for the Champions Cup quarter-final and I will do everything in my power to achieve this! Time to get to work."
