Sevu Reece will not be joining Connacht, the province and the IRFU confirmed this morning.
The 21 year old was signed by Connacht in May, but not due to arrive in Ireland from the Waikato Chiefs until next month.
A statement this morning said "following contact with Sevu Reece in relation to the circumstances of a recent court appearance, [the decision was taken] not to proceed with a contract to play with the province".
