Late blitz condemns Ulster to defeat in Bordeaux

Ulster got their Champions Cup campaign off to a defeat after Bordeaux Begles fought back late in the second half to power to a 28-13 win in Pool 5.

An Andrew Trimble try and a penalty from Paddy Jackson saw the visitors retires at the break with a 10-3 lead.

Bordeuax piled on the pressure, but only took the lead with six minutes remaining with after consultation from the TMO, and three minutes later they had a penalty try as Seán Reidy was sent to the bin.

In the final minute Blair Connor raced clear to add a gloss to the scoreline.
