We mentioned Johnny Ward's tips earlier, and it would be remiss of me not to put some sort of selection forward. However, to save time I'll limit it to two:

Chris's Dream is the only horse I backed ante-post for the Festival, following his 64 length win in the Grade 3 Sure Haul Novices' Hurdle at Clonmel. He has been consistently supported and is now a 9/1 third favourite for the Albert Bartlett.

Henry de Bromhead sent Monalee to the same race in Clonmel before finishing second in the three-miler last year, and Chris's Dream looks like he should at least make the frame.

Meanwhile Road To Respect (10/1) has also received considerable support for the Gold Cup since Balko Des Flos landed the Ryanair yesterday. Noel Meade's inmate had Balko in behind him when winning the Lexus at Leopardstown's Christmas meeting.

A third Gigginstown horse, Outlander, was third that day and went on to lose out in the Irish Gold Cup at the same course by a length to Edwulf.

Both that pair also run today, but Outlander tends not to shine away from south Dublin, while Edwulf would be literally completing a miracle if he were to win, having collapsed at last year's Festival.
