Ireland’s Scott Evans has bowed out of the World Badminton Championships in Copenhagaen at the last-16 stage, going down to the top seed and world number one Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia.
Evans, who overcame David Obernosterer of Austria in the last round, was outclassed 21-11, 21-12 by Lee.
The Malaysian has filled the runner-up berth at the last two World Championships.
