Kilkenny hurler Richie Power is facing between six and eight weeks out of the game with a knee injury picked up in Sunday's draw with Galway.
Power had already missed the Leinster quarter-final win over Offaly with a hamstring injury and now looks likely to be out of action until the All-Ireland semi-final stage, if the Cats were to get to that stage.
The 26-year-old Carrickshock man left Tullamore on crutches on Sunday.
Kilkenny and Galway will replay for a place in the Leinster final against Dublin this Saturday at 7pm in O’Connor Park.
