Damien Cahalane will make his Championship debut for the Cork hurlers in their All-Ireland qualifier Phase 3 clash with Wexford on Saturday at Semple Stadium, throw-in 5.00pm.

Cahalane, from the St Finbarr’s club, will start at full-back in place of Conor O’Sullivan. It is one of four changes to the side that beat Offaly last weekend.

Dual star Eoin Cadogan returns to replace William Egan at No 7, while Niall McCarthy lines out on the half-forward line, with Darren Sweetnam making way.

Luke O’Farrell takes over the full-forward berth from Jamie Coughlan.
