Kilkenny were crowned Walsh Cup champions following a two-point extra-time win over Galway at Freshford.
Kilkenny's Richie Power and Ger Farragher of Galway scored 1-11 each in a game that was in the balance until the full-time whistle.
The sides could not be separated in normal time as Kilkenny bounced back from an eight-point deficit as the game entered the final quarter.
Farragher and Power continued to impress in extra-time, but with late points from Eddie Brennan and Richie Hogan, Kilkenny won out.
