There were wins for Roscommon, Louth, Armagh and Donegal in yesterday's Nicky Rackard Cup quarter-finals.
Monaghan were no match for a hungry Roscommon side in Athleague as the Connacht side ran out easy 4-19 to 1-08 winners.
The Rossies had a total of 11 players on the scoresheet, with Michael Kelly, who netted from a free, Shane Sweeney (2) and Tomas Lennon scoring the home side's goals.
Monaghan's only chink of light came when their top player Pat O'Connell goaled from a close range free.
In Drogheda, Louth also struck four goals as Warwickshire's brave bid for a Rackard Cup final spot came to an end.
The Exiles fell to a 4-26 to 1-03 defeat and the game was as good as over at half-time as Louth had built up a 3-15 to 0-02 lead over the first 35 minutes.
Collins Connolly struck 1-06 in all with Paul O'Donoghue and Shane Fennell also helping themselves to goals for the men in red. Warwickshire's major came from the hurl of Martin Morrissey.
Armagh took a 2-19 to 1-09 win over their Ulster rivals Tyrone to book their place in the Rackard Cup semi-finals.
Tyrone were left cursing 12 first half wides - they were 1-07 to 0-06 in arrears at half-time with Conor McCann netting for the Orchard men.
Declan Coulter, Armagh's best players in recent seasons, and Red Hand attacker Cathal Donaghy swapped goals but the hosts were simply too good.
Meanwhile, Donegal had six points to spare over Longford as they gained a 2-14 to 2-08 success in Letterkenny.
Donegal were 1-08 to 0-08 behind at the break with Longford's Eoin Donnellan finding the hosts' net.
Turning around with the elements at their backs, Donegal took control with Niall Campbell and Conor McVeigh putting their names to goals.
