The Guinness Hurling Legends team was announced last night.

There were four players from both Clare and Tipperary, three from Cork, two from Kilkenny and one each from Offaly and Galway.

Brendan Cummins got the nod in goal. The full-back line consists of Ollie Canning, Brian Lohan and Diarmuid O'Sullivan.

Brian Whelehan, Seanie McMahon and Sean Óg Ó hAilpín make up the half-back line.

Colin Lynch and Tommy Dunne, two players who have faced each other many times in the Munster SHC, are the midfielders.

Jamesie O'Connor, John Leahy, Henry Shefflin were picked as the half-forwards, while Eoin Kelly, DJ Carey and Joe Deane form the inside-forward line.

DJ Carey and Henry Shefflin were the most voted for players in the entire 75-player shortlist.
