Doyle takes over as Tipp boss

Michael Doyle has been named as the new Tipperary Senior Hurling manager in succession to Nicky English. Doyle is a son of the legendary John Doyle and he managed the Tipperary under-21s to All Ireland success in 1995. He has extensive club coaching experience most recently with Nenagh and has been given a two year term.

Two other inter county players complete Doyle's selectorial team - they are this year's Intermediate manager Liam Sheedy and also Kevin Fox.
