Matt and Alex Fitzpatrick sizzled in the Big Easy, setting a new course record at TPC Louisiana to race four shots clear of their nearest pursuers at the Zurich Classic.
The English brothers card a best-of-the-day alternate shot 65 on Friday to move to within a shot of the American duo Alex Smalley and Hayden Springer.
However, they exceeded that in the third round in New Orleans with a 15-under-par round of 57, featuring 13 birdies and an eagle, to move to 30 under for the tournament.

Waterford's Séamus Power and German playing partner Matti Schmid were just three shots off the lead when play commenced in the penultimate round, but they lost ground on the other contenders after five birdies and an eagle in a 64 dropped them to a share of 16th place on 21 under.
Smalley and Springer shot a 62 to share second place on 26 under with their fellow American duo of Austin Eckroat and Davis Thompson, who recorded a round of 61.
Doug Ghim and Jeffrey Kang occupy outright third one shot further back after a 61.
Sunday's final round will see the teams revert to alternate shot.
Shane Lowry and fellow major winner Brooks Koepka teamed up at this year's tournament but missed the cut on Friday.
